Ok, I got the call. The “your mammogram showed something different from last time, no big deal, it’s probably nothing, can you come in for a diagnostic MRI tomorrow?” call.
….no,no,no. I shake my head. This isn’t happening to me.
Google. 80% of women who have abnormal mammograms and go on to biopsies have negative findings.
So, I panicked for a minute then decided that I had no risk factors, no family history and would have no problem. NOT ME. I’m strong, healthy and my mother was on HRT for 25 years without problems for crissakes. My sister’s been on it for 7 or 8 years and me, only 3. We are the hot flash queens, several per hour all day and night. Sleep deprivation made us crazy enough to succumb to the naughty hormones….
Please don’t make me stop taking them, please……I love to sleep. I secretly love my hormones.
