The week of waiting. The week of the left breast. The week between finding out there might be cancer in the OTHER breast, and the MRI/biopsy that would settle the matter.
I was afraid. And questioning if I could handle more.
In the end, the MRI biopsy was inconclusive and it will be repeated in 6 months, then 6 more months and on and on until the radiologists either decide it is a fluke, or in fact, cancer.
I slept for many hours over the next 2 days.
I can handle this, and more.
I have been initiated into the world of cancer.
