I figured that the first UVP blog post would be all about Pilates, but…..
Wow, was I wrong!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer on September 11. 2009, following a routine mammogram.
This blog will chronicle the events leading up to my diagnosis, and the days ahead. It will serve as a way for me to update all of the wonderful people who have offered words of support. I know it will help me navigate the journey I am headed on…one not chosen, but mine now, nonetheless.
Already, nine days have passed.
The first nine days of a new life for me. I see it as an odd, sometimes scary road ahead, but also full of possibility. In some ways, I am so very curious to see what transpires.
So, here we go. Please take what you wish and leave the rest. And I’ll see you on the other end!
